Amsterdam based hiphop duo Pete Philly & Perquisite released ‘Mystery Repeats’ back in 2007. On their sophomore album they incorporated genres from all over the globe: flamenco, samba, reggae and afro beat. Pete & Perq crafted the baseline of the album in a North France retreat and finished it by working day and night in Perq's Amsterdam studio. Upon it's release, Dutch music magazine OOR called the album 'the cream of the crop of Dutch HipHop' and de Volkskrant mentioned it was 'even richer in sound then their debut album'. Also, title song 'Mystery Repeats' was used for years in a major commercial and became their biggest hit so far.
After they parted ways in 2009, Pete Philly & Perquisite have returned last November with a grand reunion concert at AFAS Live, Amsterdam. A part from that, they announced their official third studio album to be released this Spring. So, with a new album on it’s way, it was about time to re-release their second album on vinyl, just as they did with debut album 'Mindstate'. The repress comes in a gatefold 2LP in a limited edition of 500 pieces.
